Where do you see us going?

Just a general question: Are y'all leaning more towards Big 12 expansion or should we attempt a move to one of the other power conferences?

I hate aggy like any respectable Longhorn. But this smacks of losers envy. We're getting out-recruited by aggy and losing all sorts of overall momentum in football. Easy response: "They're cheaters!"

Thanks for that Contractor. I personally would like to see a move to the SEC. It would kill one of the recruiting advantages aggy currently possesses. Also, the end of the Big 12, regardless of where we end up, would potentially signal the end of Baylor football being a real player.

If academics are a concern, surely our days in the Big 12 are numbered. The SEC is a clear step up in terms of academics.

There's been some talk about conference realignment on various sites the past couple of weeks. The SEC is usually immediately dismissed as a possibility without much said on why this is. Could someone explain the big negatives to Texas joining the SEC?

I'm a huge fan of it. Meaningful commentary instead of the typical Musberger bloviation.

Results: That is all that matters. Right now the first and most immediate thing we can judge him on is what kind of class he's able to put together before February. Let's wait and see.
