Honestly, I think CS is a young Nick Saban. I knew NS was not coming when he signed that contract extension. Hopefully CS won't have too much of a learning curve with the Big Xii offenses.

Folks, keep in mind that CS fired his previous OC at the beginning of the season (2011?) and promoted Watson. Once Watson was promoted the L'ville O continually improved under his guidance, and just look at Bridgewater's development. I'm with most of you and would like to get a "sexy" spread...

If we got a young hot-shot OC, he'll be gone in a year or two as a HC. We need to hire either on old successful OC, who nobody wants as a HC or a really good OC, who has already failed miserably as a HC! Otherwise we'll be having a new OC every couple of years if we are successful.

What I recommend is whenever talking to a LSU grad get them going about how the SEC scheduling is screwing them and favoring Bama. We need to spread discord one SEC fan at a time. The SEC was a lot funner when they were hating each other and turning in each other for cheating;-)

Not counting the bowl 8-4 to 10-2. It will depend on the OC and our QB. I would like to see the top D in the Big XII and top ten in the country. Like a lot of people have said it will be how we play that I'll be watching.

The OC hire is critical. I'm confident on the D side of the ball, but we need a really good OC hire to get this ball rollin'
