How does the HS coaches take all these OOS offers going out? Any news about Brewster? With the offer to Gragg a few days ago, it doesn't seem like Chambers is going anywhere.

An A&M guy/fan who spoke with A&M's 24/7 site, says he talked to Harvey in Austin airport. It looks like he'll make a visit this weekend.

He's a 2015 prospect, so plenty of time to make an impression.

If I remember correctly, Strong said that the OC would get 100% control over that side of the ball. Maybe he's just keeping everybody around until he knows who will be the OC? I could imagine that if Herman became OC, he would tell Strong who he would like to keep and who he wanted out.

I heard he is being considered for the RB coaching job. He did "coach" Ricky to a Heisman, Hodges Mitchell to a 1100 yard season and Cedric Benson into the first round of the 2005 NFL draft. That said, I would prefer Larry Porter.

4-star DT Michael Sawyers will visit Texas soon I think. He is committed to Vanderbilt but will probably take his visits before NSD. I also think that 4-star S Kyle Gibson has been mentioned these last few days as a guy Texas might take a look at. EDIT: PmdjHorn beat me to it.

I don't think we will see many new recruits, or new names linked with Texas for that matter, for this years class with Strong. It's too late in the process and Louisville doesn't have that many recruits that could be interesting for this class. DT Poona Ford is the only one that I hope Texas...
