I honestly do not mean this to be combative, but why is this a great hire, and relative to whom?

More specifically, basically saying different factions are believing different things (i.e., one faction believes it will be Saban and Strong is just smokescreen; another believes it will be actually be Strong).

Your posts discussing the need for one person to be in charge; the need for a clear process given the importance of this hire; etc. are looking more and more relevant....

He posted later in the thread that there are still variables at play (i.e., on the field this weekend) that could still affect the outcome.....

He didn't say, but I'm guessing a compliant Mack, etc.
