Agree.
I apologize for not having the link, but I read something recently that said Trevor Goodby was projected to play RT in the NFL. Not sure if that was directly said to him, but if it was then it would make sense he moves there this year to get tape at RT.
On that note, it was also...
Warren Roberson to the portal. Mixed about this one. Thought he played well against Michigan, but he also good for silly penalties each game. I guess Black coming back sealed his fate.
And Lockett and Bishop.
Bishop is gonna be lightening. This kid is too good. I don't say that lightly about incoming freshman and 90% of the time I like them sitting and learning. However, this kid is legit and highly intelligent as well so I expect him to pick up the playbook fast.
That is 100% true. Look at what everyone is saying about the IOL guy they picked up from Oregon State. I've read a lot of people saying how low his rating is. Take a look at every OL player from Indiana, all of them except 1 were 3* or 2* players. Maybe Texas needs to go after the IU OL coach.
Any update on the CAL LB visit yesterday? Have they moved away from him now since Biles now this guy from FST are in town? or are they just kicking the tires on all of them to find the right fit or fits if they take 2?
ok, let me dream a little here. Manning, Haynes, Brown, Coleman, Wingo, Locket, Mosely. That would be the best skilled position team in all of college football.......yes, yes, I know they would need an OL blocking for them.
Hearing he is meeting with Muschamp to discuss his future and there is a chance he will stay. I'm a little mixed about this because On one hand I think he will be good, but on the other hand it sets a precedent to threaten to enter to get what you want.
You know, when I heard Texas was going "all in" once the portal opened, I thought something different. I didn't think it meant the players on the roster are ALL going IN The portal.
Why does it feel like Texas is the one of the only teams trying really hard to play within the NIL rules of engagement and being fiscally responsible? The problem with this is other teams aren't so it's like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
I get it, I'm not saying Cruz was a going to get snaps next year, but it feels they're losing depth and not replacing it with better quality....at least so far.
While we're on the subject, I expected these guys to get developed by Flood since they were recruited by him, but none of these...
