Neither would start next year. They’re behind Booker and Lee. I think it’s more down to impatience, which I don’t get. It’s still unusual for anyone to do less than 4 yrs in wcbb, so why not develop for a year or two and then take your spot when you’re ready

PG that can shoot the 3 is priority 1 followed closely by a stretch 4 that can also help Matas with rebounding. Anything else is for depth, unless Swain goes pro - then we’d need another SF. For 3pt shooting, we have Heide and three of the incoming freshmen are top-level 3pt shooters

We end up ranked #4 in the final AP poll. That’s kinda crap (we should be #2), but the loser in the final gets #2 and a one-loss UConn gets #3

Small school is still better competition than high school, so probably makes it a little easier to evaluate. I agree it’s still a crapshoot until they prove it on the field at the P4 level

OL has always been the hardest spot to access coming out of high school. That’s why you see so many NFL OL that came out of small schools. Now, the ones that were missed will develop at a small school, and then be picked up by a P4. It’s a new intermediate step but will probably be here to...
