2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Just curious who Hamm is? An insider to aggie goings on? Also, is your info your opinion or do you have insider knowledge? I'll assume Mack has not let anyone know why he does what he does other then his family. The arrest record in CS is getting very impressive of late. Tops in the SEC for off season arrests! We will call that their first SEC championship!
Hamm is a recruiting analyst for A&M over at 247. The "arrests" part is probably an extrapolation from Hamm. IMO the reason Mack is looking around has more to do with struggles on the field. Mack wants to win and play for a good defense....he's said that multiple times. That's probably an extrapolation on my part too, but that's my feeling. There's no doubt he's looking around. Already taken multiple visits to other places.

He committed in the middle of the season (October) when the defensive struggles were already apparent.
He bought what Sumlin was selling. Mack wants to see results. That's why he started looking around after the season. If A&M's defense is bad and they go 7-5 next year, it's a given that Mack is gone.

He even Tweeted this yesterday, "I'd rather play on a stacked team that wins than being a star on a team that loses #AllAboutThatWinningBoss #NonSelfish".

at some point, should mr. mack choose to uphold his nerve shattering vs provocative rhetoric...  no real head coach with an ounce of pure integrity, shall even want to recruit him.  at some point, he shall be viewed as a potential locker room disaster.

please pardon me "hornsports" member mates, but i have really taken note of this particular lad's mindset vs antics, throughout this recruitment season.  i find mr. daylon mack's, total aura, to be one of outright arrogance vs sheer and utter hubris.  for god's sake, mr. mack is just a kid searching to find his way towards an institution of higher learning.  shouldn't he conduct himself with a bit more humility as well as self respect?  how dare such a young prospective recruit, tweet out such a provocative statement in regards to losing.  didn't his parents ever teach him that oftentimes "losing" actually builds the kind of character that a team could build upon?  how dare he has the gall vs audacity to mention about being a "star", before he even lines upon the collegiate field of play...  doesn't he posess the sense to know that GOD GIVETH, and GOD TAKETH AWAY!

So I guess DeShon Elliott (2015 safety) called aggy a "circus" on twitter.

This, predictably, caused the aggy to defend themselves by acting like a bunch of clowns.

He later deleted it.

In the original tweet, he made a reference to all the arrests there this off season.

He wrote--

‘Texas has discipline. A&M is a circus.’

Nice redact. Should have stated "...It wasn't needed. The police lineups speak for themselves."

Rodney Anderson has decommitted from A&M tonight. After last year's class they need some RBs. Pretty good back. Wonder if Texas will take a look at him.

I guess Texas has no shot at Daylon Mack though. I guess that's why he just recently started following Bedford, Chambers and Rumph tonight on Twitter.

Looks like Mack removed the aggy stuff from his twitter account - cant see any at least

Yep, his Twitter account used to have an Aggie background pic and it used to read "A&M and Under Armour All American Commit". Now he has no Aggie background pic and it just reads "Under Armour All American Commit". Mack was also good friends with Rodney Anderson, the player that just decommitted. Throw in the fact that he's verified that he will be taking multiple visits to other schools. Mack isn't a commit anymore. The decommittment hasn't been officially announced, but he isn't an Aggie commit. Wouldn't surprise me if it becomes official in the next 48 hours or if 247 takes him off of the Aggie commitment list very soon.

Post-it note?

In the pic, accompanying the tweet.

He also said this (about us) --

“Seeing them win ten games would be nice. If that happened it would be something to look at.†
and....

I think I will (visit Texas) at some point

I am not sure the Spring Game did us any favors on this front.  Especially the offense.  I know we kept it vanilla.  But we also had a lot of impressionable eyes watching.  For example, according to the Tech people, Jordan Davis left at halftime.

I am not worried about Jordan Davis. He is over rated and over mouthed.

Mack knows Strong's defense will kick ass and Jordan Davis leaving at halftime was the best thing that could have happened for Texas. I just don't see how we don't have better QB play than last year.
