Baron took home the steak knives last week. Who is going to rise and take the prize this week? Another great week of games! Remember some teams have lost some players to injuries. You should probably consider that in your picks. Buenos Suerte!

Updating my score due to miss state’s qb being ruled out:

Texas 38 Miss St 13 - feeling good on this game. Our scoring drought won’t be 30 mins this week. Offense plays better and so does STs. Defense as good as ever. Manning has a great game.

#25 Wisconsin at Iowa - this is a classic Big 10 game. A knock 'em, sock 'em, run the rock, play field position, defensive game. Wisky has the QB advantage but Iowa runs a little better. Whoever stops the run, wins this one. I'm going with the Hawkeyes. Winner still has a shot at the playoffs. Loser is on the outside looking in.

#19 SMU at Syracuse - Another long distance travel game for the Ponies, but I still like them for an outside chance at making the playoffs. This should be an easy win but they will need to shake off the jet lag.

#22 Arizona at #13 Texas Tech - Tech got exposed last week and Hammond isn't as good as previous QBs. Arizona is tested and I think they can take Tech. Loser is out of the playoff picture. Wildcats in a shoot out.

Auburn at #12 Ole Miss - Looks like Auburn has reverted back to themselves after showing a little life in beating Georgia. They got spanked by LSU last week and will get spanked again this week.

#17 Florida at #3 Georgia - Both teams have had 2 weeks to prepare for this game. Florida has been riding high after beating Texas and Georgia angry after losing to Auburn. Who is going to start at QB for Florida? Can Georgia stop Baugh? Just how good is Florida? I gotta believe Smart is the difference maker here. He'll have a plan to beat the Gators and knock them out of the playoff picture.

#20 Northwestern at Oregon - Oh have the mighty Ducks fallen. Can they get up? Northwestern on the other hand is still in the playoff picture but other than Indiana who have they played? The Wildcats are going to run the rock and have their QB manage the game. Jet lag could be the difference maker but I'm going to go with the Wildcats.

#6 Utah at Cincinnatti - The Utes are another team that could have a bad case of jet lag. Utah is the only undefeated team in the Big 12. They are going to have to stop the Bearcats running attack and establish their own running game. Unless they are jet lagged, the Utes will win convincingly.

South Carolina at Oklahoma - Offensively, the Gamecocks have the advantage. Defensively, 0uSux has the advantage. The question is how good will South Carolina's defense do against 0uSux offense. Sellers will have to be on his game if they want to come away with a win. I'm going with the Gamecocks.

Clemson at Florida State - If Clemson can run the ball, they can win this. Florida State knows that too so they need to force the Tigers to win by passing the ball. Both teams are middle of the road with average Offenses. I'll pick Dabo to pull this one out.

#2 Ohio State at USC - USC is better at home. They tend to score more but their defense is pourous. Unfortunately for them, the Buckeyes have a much better defense and can score points too. This will be a fairly high scoring game but Ohio State will win easily.

TIE BREAKER – Guess the final score of the Mississippi State at #11 Texas game
I want to believe that Texas can dominate this game, but what I've seen so far is they can dominate for a half and then disappear. If Taylor starts at QB, this could be another tight game if the DL doesn't get any pressure. We can't lose to another unranked team.
