Gonna hurt if what I read on facebook earlier today. Anyone else see this news? Simmons out for up to 4 wks with ankle sprain.

I don't think it's going to hurt, we have some very good DEs. Jackson has really stepped up. The freshman has been awesome. Simmons is a luxury. I hope the report is wrong because I love watching him play. But it's not like our DL becomes weak in his absence.

Ole Miss - 27 Texas 24 - Sark is slowly losing the confidence of fans, players and coaches. He’s a little too arrogant to make the changes needed to win this Saturday. Offense stalls out a lot again. Defense gets tired. Same story week in and week out until big changes happen.

TIE BREAKER – Ole Miss 21 Texas 24 - offense struggles again, but defense bails them out. (Even though we are favored, this should be an upset special)

#6 Indiana at Michigan - Indiana seems to struggle a bit against teams with a pulse. Michigan seems to hang around which makes them kind of dangerous if you don't put them away early. On paper, Indiana should crush them as the QB1 is superior to Underwood. The Hoosiers rushing attack is almost double that of the Wolverines. I really want to pick an upset here but I just don't trust Underwood.

#18 LSU at Auburn - Loser of this game is out of the playoff picture. Auburn surprised everyone last week going down to Athens and beating the Bulldogs. LSU just shut out Miss. State at home. But that's the kicker. The Bengal Tigers have lost both of the SEC road games. Again, on paper this is a no brainer, but I may not have a brain, I'm going with the home dog.

Oregon at Illinois - With the Ducks struggling and on the verge of dropping out of the playoff picture plus having to travel to Illinois, the Illini have a golden opportunity to win this game. But they just lost their starting QB for 4-6 weeks and any team that loses to Purdue can't be that good. I'm going with the Ducks.

#11 Tennessee at South Carolina - The Gamecocks have had 2 weeks to get ready for the Vols. Sellers has got the hot hand and looks like he could be a force to be reckoned with. The Vols have found a QB and pretty much dominated 'Bama last week. Will they be ready for the Gamecocks? They are going to have to stop Sellers for any chance to win. I'm going with the Vols.

aggy at #13 Alabama - 'Bama slipped up last week. Ain't gonna happen this week. They'll hand the aggies their 4th loss of the season and the heat turns up on Elko's seat.

Oklahoma at Mississippi State - Can Miss. State bounce back? Not without their starting QB.+ I don't like picking 0uSux but they have a slight edge.

#16 USC at Wisconsin - The Trojans give up a lot of points and aren't as good on the road as they are at home. Wisky on the other hand is going to pound the rock. If they can control the clock, they can keep the Trojan offense out of sync. USC can score a lot but they also give up a lot of points. I'm going with Wisky to pull the upset.

#14 Houston at #10 Utah - How are the Cougars ranked #14? Who has Utah played? They are in the Big 12. Houston isn't very good and I picked Utah with a chance to make the playoffs depending on what happens in the SEC. I'll go with the Utes.

Virginia Tech at Clemson - This is a toss-up game. I don't know much about these teams but I do know Dabo is going to shoot for 8-4 to keep his job. He needs this one. I'll take the home team.

#8 Texas Tech at Cincinnatti - Tech is vulnerable this year and are undefeated because they haven't really played anyone. Traveling all the way to Cincinnati could be a problem but unfortunately, the Bearcats aren't a good team. They may keep it interesting but Tech will come out on top.

TIE BREAKER – Guess the score of the #7 Ole Miss at #19 Texas game.
Well, do we get good Manning or bad Manning this week? One way to negate bad Manning is TO RUN THE FREAKIN' BALL. I'm not confident about this game but with a decent D, we can hang around and maybe win this at the end.
Texas 24 - Ole Miss 21
