What a week of college football. Lots of surprises, pleasant surprises. lol

First, aggy goes down to Kentucky, AT HOME, in front of a sellout crowd. The aggy message boards are eating their young right now. lol And then there's the OU 14-6 win over lowly New Mexico – AT HOME. Had OU's defense not been as good as it is, OU would have lost that game. We are going to mop the floor with the Sooners in October.

Great week of picks last week. Congrats again to General Hooker. Now let's see what we can do with a significantly tougher schedule of games. Buenos Suerte!

#4 Ole Miss at #21 Florida - Game will be closer than most people think. Ole Miss pulls it out late.

Oklahoma at #2 Georgia – Georgia in an epic butt kicking.

#23 aggy at #10 LSU – LSU sends aggy home with its second loss.

#20 Oregon at #12 USC – Rutgers put up 35 on the Trojans last week.

#19 Missouri at #24 Mississippi State – Miss State is a far better team than we first thought.

#17 Iowa at #18 Michigan –Michigan, barely.

Wake Forest at #16 Louisville – Louisville continues its march

Oklahoma State at West Virginia – Hard game to pick. Both have been teams that weren't picked to win. Give me the home team.

Tulsa at Arkansas – Yes, Arkansas is that bad.

Vanderbilt at Auburn – Auburn wins by two TDs.

Tulsa at Arkansas - I used to love Arkansas missery. Now I just feel sorry for them.

Vanderbilt at Auburn - I guess I'll go with the home team here?

#4 Ole Miss at #21 Florida - Is Florida for real? They gave up a ton of points to Auburn. Ole Miss eeked out a win against LSU. We're going to see who is for real. Florida is favored, but I'm picking the Rebels.

Oklahoma at #2 Georgia - 0uSux offense really sucks. Georgia will wear down the sooners D and run all over them by the time this is over. The Bulldogs in an old fashioned butt kicking.

#23 aggy at #10 LSU - This game is going to tell us a lot about LSU, aggies and Ole Miss. Ole Miss and LSU went toe to toe last week with the Rebels on top. The aggies lost at home against Kentucky. An aggie win and the Bengal Tigers dig a mighty big hole for themselves. An LSU win and the aggies will be left for dead. This is probably a playoff elimination game. Give me the home team.

#20 Oregon at #12 USC - At the beginning of the season, I thought this game would give the winner an advantage for the #3 Big 10 playoff team. Both teams defenses have given up too many points against any team with a pulse. That doesn't bode well for any playoff team. I'm going to go with Oregon and Moore to get back on track. I'm expecting a track meet here.

#19 Missouri at #24 Mississippi State - Mississippi State is ranked. I can't believe that but it is early in the season. I'm going with the experienced QB in this one. It could be the difference in this evenly matched game. Prove me wrong Bulldogs but Tigers win this one.

#17 Iowa at #18 Michigan - As long as Oregon struggles, these are 2 teams that could make the playoffs. Iowa hasn't really played anyone other than their rival Iowa State. Michigan at least played against 0uSux. The Wolverines have at least played a decent team and could be getting better offensively, but Iowa has a good defense. I'm going to give the nod to the home team. Iowa has got to convince me they have an offense against a good team.

Wake Forest at #16 Louisville - Louisville marches on towards a shot at the playoffs.

Oklahoma State at West Virginia - 2 teams with surprising wins. Neither is going anywhere so this is the who cares game of the week. Since the Cowboys lost to Tulsa, I'm taking the Mountaineers.

Tulsa at Arkansas - speaking of Tulsa, here is there shot at knocking off 2 teams from the Big 4 conferences. Then again, this is an opportunity for the Razorbacks to get a much needed win (and possibly their last of the season). I'll take the Razorbacks.

Vanderbilt at Auburn - Unless either team can upset someone, this is a must win to be bowl bound for both teams. Vandy needed a fluke to win last week. They won't get one here. I'm taking the Tigers.

I am really nervous about this game. Arch hasn't consistently played well and a slow start by the offense could mean trouble.
