Weekend Series – #7 Texas vs Mizzou

After the Texas vs Missouri game was over, I switched over to watch aggy vs Kentucky, which Kentucky won 14-11. Ironically, the Kentucky pitcher who close the game was McCoy. I had to eventually mute my TV because the aggy fans were just so obnoxious and the bubbles thing they do is the lamest a$$ thing I've seen a fan base do!

Game 3 has started. Riojas gets the start for Texas.

Wow, the pitches are working fairly quickly. As we are thru the 1st with no score.

Top of the 2nd, Borba hits a homerun to start the scoring for Texas.

Top of the 3rd. Mendoza gets a single. Schuessler walks. Flores strikeouts. Gasparino walks. Bases loaded with 1 out and Borba strikeouts now 2 outs. Stewart gets hit, but the ump calls a strike by being intentionally hit by pitch. Missouri is now making a pitching change.

Heading to the bottom of the 3rd with Texas leading 3-0

Top of the 4th. Mendoza walks and Schuessler hits his 2nd homerun of the series. Texas now leads 5-0.

Still in the top of the 4th, Texas gets bases loaded. Farmer hits the ball back to the pitcher, and he throws it away allowing Texas to score 2 more runs.

Heading to the bottom of the 4th with Texas leading 7-0.

Thru 5 complete Texas leads 7-0. Riojas with a career high 8 strikeouts.

Thru 6 complete Texas leads 7-0. Riojas with a really nice start. Would love to have him keep doing this for the final/Sunday games. Not certain if he goes back out for the 7th.

Dre Duplantier gets a quick 1st out then walks 2 straight. Jason Flores comes in hits the next batter to load the bases. He then gets a comebacker to get an out at 1st, allowing the runner to score from 3rd. Then gets a strikeout to end the 8th.

Top of the 9th after 2 outs. Johan Williams walks on 4 pitches. Then steals 2nd. Mendoza now walks. 2 on and 2 outs. Pitcher throws a WP and both runners move up, but Schuessler groundout to 3rd baseman.
