Texas really needs some stout DL going forward next year. We have athletic guys and Collins is stepping up, but they need middle pluggers you can't move. With that said, Collins and Baron have been huge today.

Well, as the saying goes, an ugly win is better than a good looking loss.. so I'll never complain about a win.

However, I/we can still be objective about Quinn's weaknesses. He's serviceable enough to get bailed out by our defense against these weaker teams, but he's not a game-changing QB who can get us to a natty through the gauntlet we'll have to go through to get there starting on 11/30.

After today, I can't say I'm confident going into Kyle Field. Let's see how Quinn does against this talented Kentucky defense next week.

Or maybe some of us still haven't accepted the part that Texas might be back as a solid program. I still have flashbacks to Texas finding ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. 14 years will do that to you.
