Today's Hunt :)

Today was my first day to get to hunt this deer season, which started on Nov. 2.

I was in my stand for about 30 minutes when this guy walked up. He was friggin big, at least 190-195 lbs. 10 point rack. Took me an hour to get him out of the woods lol

This was in northern Red River County near the Red River. Beautiful country up there.

Deer hunting is the one thing that I really miss about living in Mexico for 23 years. I hope I can can get an invite to go once we can get back.

Lots of deer down there?

The new state record of 35 pts was taken a year ago about 30 miles from my lease. There are some big deer up in Red River County. Glad I got one.

They’ve got some small ones in the mountains but we’re not allowed to hunt them.

There used to be some guided hunts on ranches in northern Mexico back in the day. Very large bucks were the draw.

No doubt. There's about 20 of them hitting my feeder every other night.
