Daddy told me about the Great Depression. Their relatives who lived in Austin (one married a UT professor), San Antonio, and Dallas would ride a train (gas rationing) to their South Texas town.

They would send them home with big bags of vegetables and all of the eggs they could safely transport.  He said they never had a food shortage.  Other things, yes. Food, no.

Yelp Sonny had a team of talented players every one try to recruit. Just folled outthe balls and said get um.

Tom inheired a train wreck. fify. He did have 4 winning seasons and 4 bowl victories.. You might could handle the truth, but have drunk too much koolade.

And my property is not for sale till Iam gone then wife will sell and go home.

TCU was in much better shape on offensive and defensive line. Texas had quite a bit of skill talent but not much on LOS. That’s the biggest difference in the two situations, Tom never prioritized recruiting linemen. Then there was the problem of the culture deteriorating because Herman was a child his last year on many a subject. Needed a little tearing down and fighting the ship. Let’s watch it develop together

LSU mod said he had a confidence level slightly above 50 %
He did say that no matter the commitment, the other team will be battling till signing day in Dec.

Kind of like Anthony Hill last year.

I don’t see it. wherever he goes he probably signs with them. We know his team will playing for a state championship in December.
