Probably safe to say that Brown and Johnson were encouraged to leave for sure. Were they encouraged to leave, or did they just expect immediate playing time?

Good luck to him. He's certainly a track loss.He had one catch last year for 32 yards. Not bad though he also had a couple of drops. He is fast but was getting buried in the depth chart. Once Cook got here, Thompson was just a matter of time. Cook is more polished and almost as fast.
I had to go get the backstory on this. He took over for injured Bryce Foster at Center and Foster is back and looks likely to reclaim the job. The guard spots are likely taken as well so Wykoff was not looking at a starting role for the aggies this year.Does anyone have access to TXAGS? This will be entertaining.
IT saying Texas will host Minnesota transfer DL Trill Carter from Tuesday to Thursday of this week.
He has two years of eligibility.

I think the two interior line spots basically have four starters… since they rotate so much - by necessity. They were discussing him being a depth guy. He was an All B10 honorable mention last year. Not sure he would want to come here for limited playing time. Then again, the staff may see him differently.
Wasn't Foster a guard?I had to go get the backstory on this. He took over for injured Bryce Foster at Center and Foster is back and looks likely to reclaim the job. The guard spots are likely taken as well so Wykoff was not looking at a starting role for the aggies this year.
I think he was in HS. Started at Center as a freshmen at A&MWasn't Foster a guard?
That's why I took the comment to be that he was projected as the #5 guy or so. We'll see..I think the two interior line spots basically have four starters… since they rotate so much - by necessity.
It's still hard to believe Napier took him.
