Texas vs. texas a&m cc tuesday night game

So, thru 4 innings  Texas 4 a&m cc 1.

LBJ got his 1st career start.  I believe 8 strikeouts, gave  up a solo homerun in the 1st otnerwise nothing.

Flores hit his 1st homerun in the bottom of the 2nd inning.

After putting up 3 runs in the bottom of the 4th, Texas puts up 6 more runs in the bottom of the 5th. It's  now 10-1.

LBJ went and started the top of the 6th, but was pulled after giving up a base hit. Career highs in strikeouts at 8 (all swinging strikeouts) and innings pitched. Only had 3 hits on the night with the 1 run.

Thanks for the updates David, but where is Joeywa? 

I can only guess that with it being a early start due to the basketball game coming on right after the game that Joeywa may not have been able to do the normal call of the game. He might tell us more or differently later.

7 complete. Now it's  11-2 Texas. The transfer pitcher from USC did give up a run in the top of the 7th, but got the run back in the bottom of the 7th. Texas is giving lots of young and/or new(transfers) some time with the large lead.

LHN switched to the basketball game after completing 8 innings.  Texas did add 1 run in the bottom of the 8th. 12-2.  Indiana comes in for the weekend series starting on Friday night at 6:30 on LHN.  Glad to see that Keith is back calling the games with Greg.

BTW, if the SEC in football is going to be hell. Checkout baseball where they have 6 or 7 teams in the top 10.
