So, the standings after today:

1. Texas

2. Baylor and Kansas 1 game back

3. ISU, K-State, and Okie Lite.  2 games back

4. TCU.  Might not be enough to win out to get partial conference regular season tie, but can do damage to finish the season and be a contender in the conference tournament to move up for the big dance.

With as many games that Okie Lite has left- Kansas, Baylor, K-State at home and a road game with TCU. We might have gotten lucky to get  Okie Lite when we did.

TCU is a solid team, but they miss Miles and they missed their big man in the middle today.

OU sux, seems to have become flat after the Alabama game.

I do wish TCU would have beaten Baylor yesterday in forth worth. Would have left both of them in the 2 games back category.

Then we could root for Baylor to beat Kansas on Saturday to put them 2 games back as well.

The two games for Texas this week are very winnable. Tech in Lubbock will be tough. These are the types of games you have to win if you want to win a conference though.

Tough 4 games stretch to end the season for Texas - Iowa State, at Baylor, at TCU and Kansas. Can't stub our toe this week against lower tier opponents.

Great bounce back win at home.  Need the same effort Monday night at tech.  Have heard that CDC bumped Coach Terry's pay from 500K to $1+ million for the rest of the season.  Also, believe he was a big part in both 5* players coming in next season. Hopefully he and the staff, iif here, can convince Mitchell, Morris, Hunter, and the other freshmento stick around 1 more year, and get a couple of players from the portal.
I believe his pay is now $1.2 Million. Nice bump for him but a lot cheaper than we were paying Beard (~$5 Million).

Not sure of any of yall have seen the Duke vs Virgina ending but Duke got screwed big time by the refs. The ACC has even come out and stated they blew the call.

Not a good night shooting for Allen, Bishop, and really even for Rice. Losing at tech 74-67.  Need to start gettong more production from Mitchell. They allowed Brock to shoot and it worked for them.

That was a real kick in the shorts.

I'd add Hunter to the "need more production from" category.

The Horns needed to win against a 3-10 Tech team missing two key players. Per an IT article, Terry waited until halftime to make adjustments while Tech did it on the fly. That's not good.

It was Tech's super bowl and we fell right into the trap. After shooting 24 of 25 from the line the game before, Texas went 10 of 17 from the stripe. Brock missing that point blank shot near the end told the story of the night.

The team needs to win Saturday at home against ou. They're the only team in the Big XII with a losing record but they did destroy now #1 Bama at home not too long ago. That's how deep this conference is in basketball.

Well hell. Baylor and Kansas both win and we lose to tech. Now tied.  At least K-State lost, but to the team we play Saturday in ousux.  At Baylor goes to Kansas on Saturday and then on to K-State.

Losing to Tech makes the run to a big 12 championship that much tougher. It's an understandable loss with the short rest and travel but definitely a game we needed to win to give us some cushion.

5 games left and the easiest is this weekend against OU. Gotta win this one.

We have 4 games after that against top 20 teams, 2 away and 2 at home. Win 2 of those and we will have a decent chance at winning the conference, especially if those wins come against baylor and/or Kansas.

Case against former UT men's basketball coach Chris Beard will be dismissed, DA's Office says The Travis County District Attorney's office said that the felony offense cannot be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

Going to the game today vs ou, I'll be the guy in Burnt Orange. Looking forward to it!

I’m just realizing this game is on ESPN+… is this a pay channel?  In any case, I don’t believe I get it ?

I'm starting to think that Terry has a real chance to be the coach next year. Recruiting will make the difference.
Is there a chance he doesn’t want it?  He left a HC gig to come here as an asst coach, right?  I doubt this is the case… but not beyond the realm of possibility… is it?
