I'll say this and get off this subject. The statement brought no awareness or insight to the situation. I am aware of the situation in El Paso not only from the news, but from friends that live there and deal with it. His statement was an unnecessary comment. I don't know his intent, but a bit cringy and added nothing to the situation or the game.

I only have one question Big Daddy, where do you reside? Because that seems to be the biggest issue here. The closer you are to the border the more intimate the issue becomes. The folks on the front lines probably appreciated his comment.

The firing or suspension was his employers decision. I never said he deserved any punishment.

Fair enough. Like I said I have friends that live there and I am very aware of what's going on, but I can't speak for anyone else. To me his comment brought nothing to the table, but the scrutiny he personally received. I could be wrong. Won't be the first time!

I have a friend that used to live maybe 500 yards from the border. She and her husband had a wonderful home very close to the sugar cane fields.
