So that's Akana and Hicks ?

Need Moore, Scott and Bowen to go.
Akana and Hicks aren't coming. In fact, we can't even get Hicks to smile at us. I think Akana is on a visit to somewhere else right now. He also has a visit lined up next weekend, too.

Moore, Scott, and maybe a final day flip or two :)

I know on Hicks.  He just doesn't like Texas for some reason.

I'm pretty sure Akana was in Omaha watching his sister play.

I think Sark and Co surprise with one or two we didn't suspect.

IDK, I'm not feeling Akana. OU feels pretty good about him. I know it was reported a day or so ago that he had two visits lined up.

Hill is really good. I have had the pleasure of watching him since peewee leagues. (He played with my grandson in the Irving river bottoms, and they played together at Denton Ryan).

They won state as sophomores and both started as sophomores.
Hill is dominant at times, and was double teamed almost every play.
He got hurt late in the season (deep thigh bruise) and Ryan was not the same without him, losing early in the playoffs.

Jatavion Sanders was on those teams too, and Hill was just as dominant as Sanders. Neither one of them ever got in any trouble and are good young men.
Gonna be a lot of fun watching him fellas.

My granddaughter is a senior at UT now and is on the business manager side of the National champion volleyball team. Got to travel with team all year and be a part of that experience.

Pretty cool huh ?

oh, almost forgot,

I know those Irving river bottoms. About 100 different ways to die down there. lol

@texbound you may be interested in this one.

Spoke to my buddy about a half hour ago. He was about three drinks in so the timing was good. :)

You've heard me say several times that we're not getting Akana. Well, my buddy laughed at me when I mentioned that. Staff thinks they're going to get Akana. He said this is a big reason they aren't pushing to keep Spencer. He said that there are a couple of players they are very interested in (on other teams) who are expected to hit the portal soon, if they don't get Akana. But he emphasized that they expect to get Akana.

I was pretty surprised to hear this.

I'm going to play devils advocate and say I can't see how we are expecting to get Akana. I'll eat crow if that happens

I believe Hicks took a visit to Oregon about a week ago or so

I know it doesn't look like Texas will get Akana, but I'm still believing what my golf buddy told me.  I mentioned it before, he is a relative of Lefau. He told me Akana and Lefau were / are close friends and he believes they're playing ball together in college.

I mean you have his sister there, you have his close friend going there and it was reported at the time that he really enjoyed his visit to Austin and loved the coaching staff.  That is 3 reasons to think Texas might be the pick.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens.  I'm so happy for the women's volleyball team to bring home the natty.

I would have agreed with you just last week. The IT guys made a couple if compelling points this week and they believe Texas leads. Mainly the fact that he does have Family at Texas and that Sark  and staff have stayed on him throughout. Spencer's situation is also a factor. Not saying we get him, but we're squarely in the mix.

Hope he picks Oregon. If we can't have him, love for aggy to lose him.
I think the contenders to flip him are 0u and quack quack. A flip to quack quack would be perfect.  Between 0u and aggy I guess I would slightly prefer he stick with aggy, since they will likely continue to implode with dimbo in charge.

Biggest takeaway @Eastexhornhas been outted as an aggy. Read SirDippinDots saying at the bottom of his post. Sounds oddly similar to something Easttexhorn said just earlier today.
I know you're kidding however a lot of people I know love Merle. If nothing else this shows that aggy "DippinDots, is not all that bad. Well except for being aggy. ?
