@TFloss32Did they say why? He's having a monster season. Is it just sending a message about sticking to your commitment or is it a sign that the decommitment was a mutual deal?

No specific reason given, but they did say the staff is very focused on culture and making sure anyone committing is dedicated to the program.

Wilson mentioned he wanted to back off because his commitment was mainly based on his relationship with Coach Marion.

Now that he's de-committed, it appears the staff would rather focus on others like Moore.

And just my opinion, but Wilson chose to de-commit on a game day and I doubt that sat well with the staff.

Nothing imminent that I've read, but the staff is also being selective.

They want guys who want to be at Texas along with knowing they have a shot at some nice recruiting momentum in November and December.

Per IT, CB Malik Muhammad of Dallas South Oak Cliff is "likely" to be in Austin this weekend.

QB Arch Manning and other commitments will be in town as well.
