Horns vs ou in Arlington

Is this game not on TV at all?
Per the Longhorn web-site:

Friday's is on Bally Sports oklahoma Extra. Never heard of it, probably requires rabbit ears or an old fashion antenna. (6:30pm)

Saturday's is on ESPN2 (noon)

Sunday's is on ESPN (noon)

Nice to see some dominate pitching again. Hope Tristan can keep it up tomorrow!!
Hansen was great tonight. I was worried after that first inning but he was nearly perfect from there. Nice to see a perfect inning of relief too. Also nice that we didn't have to use up the bullpen arms in any big way.

Offense just continues to produce at a high rate. Stehly has been stellar, currently outpacing the top Texas season batting average by 30 points and with enough power to really make teams pitch to Melendez. Messinger was pretty blah to start the season but has been on fire lately.

Did get to see most of the game. If you had DirectTV, it was on fox sportwest 676-1 with the OU broadcasters.

Last I saw was mid 8th with 1 or 2 outs believe Hansen was still out there.

Score was 6-1 UT.

Score anyone?
Final 7-1. Hansen gave up a 3 baserunners in the 1st and a run but was lights out after. His last 7 innings of work he only gave up 2 walks, no hits. Coy Cobb pitched a clean inning in the 9th.

Horns hit 4 singles, pulled off a double steal, and a sac fly to put up 3 runs in the 3rd. Tacked on 4 more runs, 1 at a time, over the course of the game included a big HR by Dylan Campbell.

It was not an offensive explosion at any point but they applied consistent pressure throughout the game. Messinger stayed red hot and went 4 for 4.

Really good start for Tristan today which was encouraging to see after not recording an out last Saturday. 6.1 innings and tagged with 2 ERs after Aaron Nixon can't get out of a jam.

Nixon inherited 2 baserunners, walks a guy, gives up a 2 run single and then walks another before getting 2 outs. Starts the next inning by putting two more runners on and has to be relieved himself. He has 15 walks in 15.1 innings this year (10 walks in 35 innings last year). Not sure what the issue is but his control is majorly lacking.

Horns hit 2 solo HRs but lose 4-2. Melendez swung on a pitch that hit 3 feet in front of the plate to strike out. He wasn't alone with others swinging on balls 2 to 3 feet outside of the plate. Bad day for the bats for the Horns.

Winner tomorrow takes the series.

Offense was all Ardoin today with the two HRs. Not much pressure applied until the 9th. Dylan Campbell with a hard liner, just happened to be right at the LF for the final out with runners on 2nd and 3rd.

They seemed to be watching all the good pitches go by and swinging at all the bad ones. They needed to quit sitting on pitches and swing away on the first two across the plate.

I missed that he hit both HRs. Guess I was so frustrated at watching them take good pitches and swing at bad ones as @alonghorn72stated.

I know it's early but it seems the baseball Gods are with the bad guys today.  Same ball down first base line for each team. OU's goes for a triple, ours turns into DP to end the inning.

At today's game. Horns look ready to go home. Mental mistakes all over the place.  They're actually making contact now. Let's see if they get it together
