If any of y'all know Cain from ESPN, OL Harris Sewell of Odessa Permian is his nephew.

Will Cain was born and raised in my home town, Sherman, Texas and was a couple of years ahead of my son in school. My daughter was a cheerleader along with his sister. Knew his parents well.

247 had a quick update on QB Arch Manning and the visit atmosphere for recruits.

They've had multiple sources tell them that things have gone from cautious optimism to a louder confidence that Texas can eventually close the deal with Manning.

Recruits have reached out to them to talk about all of the buzz this weekend and what they think Manning will do, including one prospect asking when Manning was going to make it official so he could commit too.

You would think Texas has all the momentum but you can never rule out Satan.
IMO, the gap is wider than what is shown here. People whom I respect and talk to me are very confident, even before this visit.

I agree and respect your input, but as I said, you can never rule out Satan.
I'll say this . . . our friend Mike Roach is known to be slow in seeing where a recruitment is going. I don't know if its afraid of being wrong or what, but we commonly refer to a recruitment as being over if Roach starts feeling confident.

Roach is confident.
