I like this.  Rick Barnes teaching his players to embrace the hate ??.  That would be so fun to play where other fanbases hated you.  That’s why we see the horns down in a game between Oklahoma and Baylor ??.  I would love to play like that.

There are two guys on the team that I know will embrace the hate and feed off of the opposing fanbase's hatred: Brock Cunningham and Courtney Ramey. The latter admittedly drives me nuts. That said, those are two guys that I'd have in a bunker with me, because at the very least, they're going down swinging.

Well, it was a win. But way to many easy baskets for Tennessee down the stretch. Plus lack of a go to guy on the offensive end.

Still, glad to have the win.  Now we have to go to Tech that put on a clinic today against MSU.

It was an ugly win but it still was a win. The 2nd half was a true case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Texas was smothering on D and handling the ball well the first 10 mins then Mr Hyde shows up. Too many TOs and bad positioning on the defensive boards (Tenn had 15 Off Rebs!) let Tenn get back in the game. Then one of the guys (Ramey, who had a good game shooting wise) we want on the FT line late in the game misses not 1 but 2 FTs! 

Key stats were the rebound totals for Tenn (32 total, 15 O boards) and the FT shooting of Texas (5-12, they shot 3s better than FTs!).

The charging call on Texas late in the game with a little over 2 mins left could have been huge. The defender had his heel clearly over the line under the basket so it should have been a blocking call. I saw it and the announcers even saw it before the replay. The announcers stated the ref blew the call and unfortunately, the call was not reviewable. This is something the rules committee needs to look at because again, it wasn't even close. Very ball call by the ref.

Stressful game but happy for the win. Took our toddler (it was her first game), so we had to leave early for her bedtime. Lol, I almost screwed us by leaving early.
