Hard to recruit 5-7 no matter how bad players want to play immediately.  I think that Sark believed with his staff and their past recruiting prowess they could sell these recruits on playing sooner.  In the end no dice.  Young guys don’t have much confidence in this staffs ability to win or develop them as players.  It’s a shame but one thing feeds the other.   Can’t win without good recruits and great development but can’t get good recruits because you can’t win. Is this the chicken and egg debate all over again???  I sure hope this thing don’t go further south than it already has.

I don't think anyone expected Denver Harris to come here. What was unexpected was him picking aggy, although that was pretty much assured two weeks ago when Bama took another corner and told Harris to look around.

Gordon told IT today that he's all but locked in with OK State because they have been on him for so long, and he doesn't anticipate making a trip to Austin.

Alabama had a decade of bad football and was turned around. Clemson had never been more th an an afterthought and now they’ve had an enviable decade.  Texas will get it turned around at some point. We have a lot of chicken littles on this site.

PK never got the opportunity to hire his own staff. That was done for him. Thats not how its usually done and I'm fine with giving him a shot at duplicating what worked for him before.
