That's a strong list.  Feels like we have a great shot at every one of those guys save for Evans (and okay don't know much about Oxendine).  Hopefully this weekend establishes the heart of our 2020 class.  Then we go figure out where the hell to find some LBs.

FWIW, a poster on TFB said in the comments that he heard from a source close to the Evans family that Zach's mom made him come and apologize to UT for his comments and that she wants him close to home...#grainofsalt

We need to tell Evans that we will send him an LOI on signing day and if he wants to come to Texas then sign it and mail it back. But we are no longer recruiting him.

Hopefully we will have two stud running back’s by then and won’t give a shit either way.

He told the world he wasn’t including Texas on his list because we didn’t beat Georgia badly enough. Fuc him.

I'm wondering if Evan's good friend Damieon George sold him out. Zack made a big deal about being a package deal and said he didn't like the way UT was recruiting his buddy. He then drops Texas and even bad mouths us.

Then George commits to Alabama which did not make sense. If they're a package deal then Zack should announce also. I doubt that Evans wants to play at Alabama after they just recruited the top running back last year in Trey Sanders.

That said, the possibility exists for Texas to pull as many as three 5-star RBs within the next 1.5-2 months, possibly sooner.

I can't remember ever saying that before.

Either way we’re going to be very good at RB IMO

George has loved Bama since his trip earlier in the spring. The smart money is still on Bama for Evans.

I’m going to re-focus on that 10 pound bass I’m catching tonight. For any of you guys that like to fish for the largemouth, night is the only ticket right now. Use big baits. A 10” worm or longer. Black. Or a jig and dark trailer.

Keep your bait in 8 to 12 feet of water and work it very slowly. This is where the bigguns hunt. They are flushers. And 8 to 12 feet is their preferred hunting range.

Spoke to my buddy just now about this. He says visit was total surprise and they weren't sure what to expect. However, they more or less viewed the whole thing as a good faith gesture by NS coaching staff. 

I'm still trying to fully understand that statement but it seems as though nobody at NS is heading to an in-state school in this class. So maybe thats what he meant.

So no, this wasn't a big deal. Nothing wrong with him paying a visit or his coaches. The visit went as well as you could expect.

They are full-in on Bijan Robinson. Evans will likely end up at Bama.
