Freshman guard Courtney Ramey notched a career-high 19 points and the Longhorns moved to 11-8 all-time against West Virginia with a 75-53 victory over the Mountaineers in Morgantown on Saturday night.  Texas snapped a 4-game Big 12 road losing streak with the win, moving Shaka Smart's team to 14-10 overall and 6-5 in Big 12 play.

The 22-point win was the largest Big 12 margin of victory for the Longhorns under head coach Shaka Smart.

Senior Kerwin Roach reached double-digits in scoring for the 19th time this season, with 14 points.

Texas (14-10, 6-5) will face league-leading Kansas State (18-5, 8-2) on Tuesday at the Frank Erwin Center at 8:00 PM.  The game will be televised on ESPN2.

Big game Tuesday. One we’d normally lose after getting a couple. If wins. Need to pack the drum.

I still have faint hopes that Shaka turns this thing around.  Boy, would it be better if he did.
