2019 Recruiting Board/Thread

Hamm says that Shepherd can't visit aggy this weekend because of the Brewster tweet, but says Shepherd wanted to attend.  Who knows, we all know Hammster likes to exaggerate on stuff like this.

How does that even come about without it being publicly announced by the NCAA?

F aggy

Put him in the rear view mirror for now. I think it would foolish to expend resources on him at this time.
He's got the "play in SEC" brainwash going.  Texas could win out and aggy could just win the cupcake games and he's still going to them.

Everybody in the SEC West looked pretty good this past week.  No way I see them beating Bama', Auburn, Miss. State, South Carolina, LSU.  Ole Miss may beat them, that offense is legit.  Kentucky?  Who knows.  Same with Arky, but they will throw everything they have at aggy more than anybody else.

I am sure Tommy Boy will have a PC telling us all

"Yes we lost out on Leal and it wasnt the result we wanted but its really a good thing and a really really really good reason for it..."  Insert arrogant niave psychobabble propaganda bullshit

Three OL and three LB would look great for recruiting. And throw in 2 DBS.

It certainly feels like it’s going to get worse before it gets better this cycle. This was the worst possible start (outside of losing last night) to the season.

Who will CDC go after?  Money shouldn't be a problem.  Guys like Patterson, Peterson are pipe dreams, they ain't leaving a comfy spot they are in.  Dabo??  Doubt it.  Although I'd love it + Venables.  Can dream I guess.  I see Shaw's name mentioned from other boards, but IIRC he's a Stanford grad.  Hell, give Pete Carroll a blank check.  I think Leach would kill it here (and the press conference's), but he'd have to have some focus on D' for me.  If the next hire isn't right we are headed deeper into the dark ages.

Fuente at Virginia Tech?

This talk of hiring a new coach is the reason why we are in this mess. Herman deserves to have at least 4 years minimum to win. Fans need to sit back and relax to allow the Herman at least a chance. Dabo was 6-7 his second year so you have to give coaches a chance to build the system.

I could agree with three years.
