Kerwin Roach withdraws from NBA Draft

The Texas basketball program received good news Thursday morning when it was announced that Guard Kerwin Roach would be withdrawing his name from the NBA Draft and returning to school for his senior season.

This is a win-win for him and Texas.

If he continues to improve and gets drafted, he should quickly become a fan favorite. His highlight reel dunks will take care of that.

This is good news. It will help put a couple of more w's on the board but the loss of Bamba is really going to hurt them. Unless a freshman is better than advertised, Texas will be on the bubble come March.
