That’s the definition of a young team. I just looked at the roster, and unless I miscalculated, over half of our starters are Freshmen or Sophomores. Contrast that to our 2005 team, and I think the majority of them were Juniors or Seniors.

It’s not an excuse. It’s a fact.

Youth may account for some of our problems but not our piss poor pitching. We just don’t have the arms.

I like that this bunch of kids doesn’t throw in the towel. They battle. They are not a bunch of quitters. They’re both frustrating and fun to watch. You never know what’s going to happen next. You can bet that it won’t go according to plan.
