The players will be the ones that stuff more than the schools since the benefits are linked to an agency, although the schools will certainly suffer on the court. I bet a lot of schools are about to implement self-imposed suspensions for these players as this gets sorted out, which is crushing for several others teams in the report who have their star players mentioned.As if our men's basketball team needed any more "help" being horrible. Seeing how these payments or "loans" were issued from an agency and not the schools themselves, how can you accuse the school of improper benefits? Am I missing something? I mean, I guess because the player received these benefits while in school, that would make them ineligible, thus causing that season to forfeited? Someone please explain possible ramifications more specific to Texas...
