Any input on this @Daniel Seahorn? Word is Herman is pissed because this is hurting recruiting and wants a answer by this evening if Orlando truly interested or not... we would be in serious trouble if he leaves

Am told by sources that Texas DC Todd Orlando is telling people close to him that he has no intention of leaving Texas anytime soon. The context of my conversation with the source was specifically related to the SMU job opening. At least according to this source, while SMU may have some interest in Orlando, he’s telling people close to him that he doesn’t plan on leaving. – (Super K)

Orlando is not gong  anywhere.  It will probably be announced soon he is getting a raise and an extension.

I don’t think he’s leaving. I think Traylor eventually gets that job. Chip is a nice guy, but this stuff is hurting Texas on the trail so the speculation has rightly pissed off the coaches.

I can't see SMU hiring a coach who has never been a coordinator at the college level as the head coach. Traylor was here in Arkansas at the Chad Morris presser this week. I would imagine he will be joining Morris here at Arkansas, otherwise why would he have been here with the other coaches who are coming with Morris?

Seems like Chip no longer has a reliable source so he is just throwing things up to get attention. May need to call him Chip Bayless before long.
