2 parter for our board and Mike Roach

Watching the LHN recruit review, I'm wondering if they are over hyping Cade or if he is really that athletic?

They drew a comparison to Blaine Irby and talked about his ability to get open and he is a match up nightmare for LB/S. . . . only caught the tail end of the show. Is Brewer potentially a better prospect than the 4 star OK kid? or did we do really well at TE?  How do they compare?

Is the LHN comparison to Irby more "style wise" vs actual talent?

Also, compared Graham to Alex Okafor in terms of body type when they arrived (great length, undersized/needing to bulk up) but also to each's raw pass rush ability.

To LHN, cannot find the Class review being broadcast again, do they have a site or are their shows on You Tube?

No disrespect to Brewer or Irby but we need TE's that compare to Jermichael Finley.

LHN has a "signing day special" at 4:30 am Sun and then again on Monday morning at 7-8-9 am. Hope this helps.

Finley or Thomas...now we're talking!
David Thomas had 10 receptions in Texas' NC winning Rose Bowl against USC on January 4, 2006.

His clutch catches kept those crucial 4th quarter drives going and he played a key role in one of

the biggest games in the history of University of Texas Football.  Later, Thomas earned a Super

Bowl ring with the Saints at the end of the 2009 season.  Part of a NCAA national champion team;

part of a Super Bowl winner in the NFL...that doesn't suck!

A bit off topic, but girlfriend an I decided to road trip to a Texas game in Lincoln (Texas won...I think Jammer intercepted at the end of the game). It would have been when D. Thomas was a freshman. We got there way early and was able to greet the team bus coming in. I see a woman waving at the bus with a #16 button on her coat. Having been raised in the Lubbock area, and knowing David was also from the area, I approach her to say that I was glad to see a player from Texas south plains make it all the way to Austin. A little bit later in the chat she tells me I look familiar. I am thinking there is no way. I learned that David's parents went to high school with my oldest brother and that my Dad coached David's father in Little League baseball. So, I was a bigger David Thomas fan after that.
