"Recruits surveyed at the Under Armour All-America Game were asked what words came to mind when they think of Texas coach Tom Herman. Seven recruits said Herman was "fun," six said "good," and four used "new" to describe him. Some other words used by recruits when they think of Herman: "Offense, genius, personable, relatable and swaggy." Not all of the respondents had positive thoughts on Herman, though, as some recruits said words like "fraud, liar, traitor and trash" came to mind."

Not too many comments on the last sentence of this post. Anyone have some examples and/or ideas of which recruits are saying this?

True! If he wasn't an EE I would have some hope, but not enough time. However, Shackleford was an EE and UT flipped him on the final weekend so there is that.

With Leitao that puts UT at 12 commits for 2017 (2 EES and 1 JUCO K). How many spots do they have left? Are we looking at a 20 player class or less?

Covered this kid in a 7on7 last year and he is a straight-up stud. Has an edge to him, too, which we will like. I've known one of his coaches at Jenks for a long time and he raves about him as both a player and a great kid. Texas won his family over on the academic side. His dad is the men's basketball coach at DePaul.

I think the prediction was a class of around 17.

Was asked to keep it quiet, but it's trickled out that he won't be a mid-term guy.

I think if Texas missed on Calloway and Vincent, then they'll go hard after Sheffield. It's been said they have one more secondary spot left on this class

His recruitment has been a bit if a mystery to me, but I think that this is a good thing for the horns. Only a gut feeling, but think he ends up in Austin.
