a large part of this nation isn't interested in football but isn't concerned about it either. these stories about baylor and penn state, together with the concussion problem may spur a serious pushback from them at some point. if football ceases to exist in a form we recognize, i think one very strong impetus will be baylor, penn state, and whoever is next to give the game a black eye.
we here love this game and lose perspective. we're a smaller part of the overall nation than we sometimes think.
