No baseball thread, and I say...

Nice job Aaron. We all needed a solid effort from the HornSports pitching staff tonight. Well done.

joeywa: I know your son was injured last fall playing football. I remember reading on here you were hoping

for him to recover and heal up so he could play baseball this spring, have a strong senior season and get

to play college baseball. How are things going for him?

as the one who started the thread, let the record show I'm 1-0.

In that spirit, let this serve as the

Thanks for asking. He's just reached six months from the day of surgery and is doing very well. He has not been released to play ball yet, but he is hitting and throwing every day with the HS team. He will hopefully get another good report at his appointment with the orthopedist in a few weeks. He will also play summer ball where we hope to get him back to his catcher position.

Well, best of luck to his full recovery and to being 100 per cent healthy again. I know, as a parent,

that's what you want. I wish and pray for your son to completely recover and be totally healthy again.

Thank you. I really appreciate it.
