The Longhorns cracked the Top 25 in both polls (#24 - Associate Press, #25 - USA Today Coaches Poll) and will face #3 Oklahoma tonight in Norman at 8:00 PM.  The game will be televised on ESPN.

Texas has won four in a row and look to notch another big road win tonight against the Sooners.

I like Texas in this game. They are not scared to play on the road. If the 3 point shot doesn't fall for the Sooners, the defensive presence of Texas coupled with a decent mid-range game could make for an upset tonight.

13-3 Longhorns. First TV timeout. Yancy strong out of the gate with 8 of the 13 points.

Well it was 13-3 when it came on so I could watch. You know how it goes.

Now it's 15-13. Just turned it off. Taking dog for walk. If I quit watching, score will improve.

Dangdest thang.

31-22 lead going into the half. Obviously a lot more game to play but Lloyd Noble is not Allen Fieldhouse.

'Horns are playing some ball.  OU shot only 25% in their loss to K-State this weekend.  Shooting just 28% tonight.

I really like how Shaka manages a game.  He uses his TOs effectively, doesn't wait too long to call one when things are getting a bit out of hand.  He also seems to have the attention of the players in the huddle and on the sideline.  It's refreshing.

Not much you can do there.  Great shot, and that kid has been a one-man machine for the last 3-4 minutes.

Look with 15 sec to play and tied, I'd foul before a shot and chance them at the line. Worst case they make 2 and it's 62-60 and you get the last play and shot. Letting them work the clock down was not the right approach. Me, as not a coach, thinks so.

It's a loss but Texas played ou tough at their house. Can't wait for the rematch in Austin.

I'm still "smarting" from the loss. I try to keep in mind that road conference games are a tough out. NCAA will be all neutral field play. Whatever is learned from experience ... the game experience... win or lose, is valuable.

This team should do well in the NCAAs. I think they're going to be a tough out. Hope so. Hope they get to the Sweet 16. Just have to win the first two. And win the Swt 16 opener ...and it's Elite 8.

bad call on the foul at the end. Refs shouldn't be able to dictate the outcome of a game like that. Oh well, we still get another crack at them when they come to Austin. I think if we had Ridley we win that game. I also think Ibeh get's drafted now, and I'm excited about what Shaka is creating in Austin.

Definitely a tough loss. We had our chance to win but couldn't do it. I wish our hold for last shot wasn't so predictable. Taylor dribbles for ever then drives to the basket. How about letting Felix or Lammert shoot a 3.

Monday night Felix & Lammert were 1 of 10 from 3pt land so maybe Smart didn't like those odds?
