My point exactly.....Where was this COACHING against TCU ???? KSU staff coached pretty well against TCU ??? Ours get over $5 million dollars....They should coach every darn day !!!!

First of all I had my doubts after TCU as well.  Texas has played better since ND with the exception of TCU.  We beat Rice although it wasnt pretty, almost beat Cal and should have.  We probably would have beaten OSU but the refs denied us.  So the only real mystery in this stretch was the TCU game.  This team is playing so many freshmen and new players it is going to be inconsistent.  

After watching us dominate ou it SHOULD be apparent to everyone that this is what Charlie is capable of.  No more doubts from me.  Give this team and staff time.  One more good recruiting class and by year 3 or 4 we will see a very powerful team on the field.

I understand fans who are worried after a pretty bad showing but give Charlie a break.  This team was prepared and competitive vs ou and that is all you can ask for.  I am not saying we will win every game here on out but this was the biggest win I have seen under Strong and he has showed us what is coming.

So stop bitching.

I doubted Strong and his staff, you and others didnt.  So Thank you for bearing with my lapse of foresight.

This team played with intensity, they were prepared and well coached,  the game plan was perfect on both sides of the ball, and most of all these players LOVE Charlie and you could see it.  One other poster I believe it was North Texas Golfer said it best the post game reaction and seeing Charlie smile was a tearful moment.  I have been waiting for a game like this since Charlie arrived.  Going forward I am sure we may have more inconsistency but we just need to be patient with this young team.

Some of us fans are just impatient like me but there comes a point when people constantly try to find the wrong in the good and it becomes trolling.  

Besides you know why Charlie was smiling so big?  He was thinking all you doubters need to shut up.  I for one have taken notice and he has my patience.

A great win. I will be joining those eating a bit of crow because I did not think that our kids would discover how to win. Now they have, so hopefully we will not see any more TCU like performances.

I watched TCU barely beat Kansas State. K State is going to be a very tough opponent, so we are going to have to play with the same drive and attitude as we did against OU to beat them.

Also watched good parts of the Tech-Iowa State and Okie Lite-West Va games (thanks DVR). It is sad we left one on the table vs Okie Lite. We can beat all of those teams, but will have to be able to outscore Tech on Thanksgiving.

If we can maintain our momentum, we should become bowl eligible, which would be a big plus. But there are some tough games ahead, and we must keep our new found toughness.

The young talent is there, with more one the way. The future seems much brighter after yesterday.

I watched TCU barely beat Kansas State. K State is going to be a very tough opponent, so we are going to have to play with the same drive and attitude as we did against OU to beat them.

I'm glad we've got a bye week to prepare for K-State and am doubly appreciative that we get 'em @ DKR!  We're only 3-8 versus the 'Cats in the Big12 era. We can't overlook these guys regardless of their record.

DMAC, I work with teenagers everyday.  They are nothing, if not inconsistent.  The Malik J.'s are a rare breed, but as Vance said, even he is a freshman.

I don't think we fully appreciated Jordan Hicks and Q last year, even Y2K.  I do believe we knew how valuable Big Mal was.  We entered a new world this year, but we discovered that Charlie is not afraid to play freshmen, and he is willing to make the tough choices.
