D'andre Christmas-Giles offer

D'andre Christmas-Giles, a 6-4, 295 lb. defensive tackle from St. Augustine High School (LA) received a Texas offer today.  Christmas-Giles committed to Tennessee in late August (he actually committed to the Vols on his birthday) and holds offers from a good number of other schools, including Nebraska, North Carolina and Colorado.  

I chatted with C-J earlier tonight and he's excited about the Texas offer.

"I'm feeling great! I'm blessed to be where I'm at with recruiting."

Christmas-Giles said Brick Haley was recruiting him and followed with this.

"I'm loving Texas ! I hope to build a stronger relationship with the coaching staff."

He's what I would consider a soft Tennessee commit but he's very intrigued by the Hook'Em offer.

He is quick ... he gets up the field quickly for such a big guy.  You can see why he is listed as a DT/DE though probably at his size he probably ends up inside.  I liked the one play where he grabbed the ball carrier, spun him around and hit him again!
