Keep the updates coming. I'm at a Cubs Rooftop party today.

i've always been one to feel like the bounces average out over a season, but this team just continues to be the most snakebit team in college baseball history. there's not a game that goes by where we don't have a line drive snared that falls in for every other team. just amazing.

this has to mean that things will average out in the tournament. right?
I don't know Slim. After 50 games you are what you are I'd think. We' re a .500 team.

B4th

Wendel - ahead 3-0; BB, runner to 1b

Esthay - singled through right side, runner advances to 3b, runner at 1b, 0 out

Price - RBI double to CF, scores 2 runs, runner to 2b, 0 out

Baylor leads 3-1

see?  that ball missed shaws glove by an inch.  if that's out line drive, its caught.  i understand, they still would have scored a run, but not two.  been that way all year.  cantu's batting average should be about 50 pts higher just on line drives that should have fallen in.

somebody pissed off the baseball gods and i blame you and joeywa for forcing me to change the baseball gods favorite hat.  they've been pissed off most of the season and i think that's probably why.  i can't think of any other good reason

B4th cont'd

Sheppard - sac bunt 2-3, runner to 3b, 1 out

Menard - behind 0-2; singled up middle for RBI, runner to 1b, 1 out
