According to a majority, we will finish with

Warren 4-0 UT

Baker    3-1 UT

and possibility of Reed 2-2

On Soso -- the Plano W head coach (Hughes) loves Charlie (in part due to the fine treatment of Jeffcoat) and helped push him to reconsider us (after we dropped the ball on him).  Their BBall coach (Morgan) also likes Charlie and his core values

The issue for us now seems to be this trainer dude (Underwood) -- who no likey us
The trainer dude has been banned from having access to Plano West now. Of course he can still contact Soso outside of school I assume but maybe with the barring him from campus opened Soso's eyes a little about the guy.

A poster from TOS is reporting that a poster from even another OS has said that this Higdon dude has some really disturbing news about Jerrod Heard.

Para phrasing as best I can, Higdon reported that Heard has not matured, is not taking the bull by the horns and is not putting in the effort needed to start.  He further says the present coaching staff does not think he will ever be the leader they need and that they would not even have recruited him.

That is REALLY bad news, if true.

Can some of you Higdon followers confirm this or follow up on whether Higdon has actually said this?

The Kai Locksley recruitment makes more sense now - especially as a backup to Swoopes or whomever Strong brings in from the JUCO ranks.  No wonder he thinks he can start this year.
Remember reading the post in this thread talking about how the people who run the boards and blogs are business owners trying to make money and they will create drama in order to get clicks and views and subscriptions?

Well, this is exactly what is happening here.

I'm calling BS on this one.

Man, I can't tell you how much I hope you are right.

Scout poster

I, of course, have no way of knowing the truth or falsity of this

"Current student at UT and one of my good friend's has a sister who goes to school with Soso -- she informed us that he got kicked out of class earlier today because (allegedly) Matthew McConaughey called him and he wouldn't hang up.   I doubt this means much but I love the route we're taking if this is true haha"

I think it is safe to say that Strong is established in Texas now among the THS Coaches. I think instead of stealing A&M recruits next year, it will be too close to call on the top kids if we can show improvement on the field, especially if the win totals are similar. Sumlin has to win 10 next year to close any gap. An 8 or 9 win season for us is huge....a 7-9 win season for them could be a death blow.
