2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

— Twitter API (@twitterapi) November 7, 2011

I really like this comment about the new Texas Offense .... IMO, when Major did this with David Ash was when Ash was most productive .... Ash would set the Offense quickly at the Line of scrimmage to allow Major to read the Defense -- then Ash would look to the sideline to get an audible from Major's sign crew ..... of course we all knew that Major was one of the best audible QBs of his time

Will Watson be as effective reading the D ?? ... he should be

... if this is the "no-huddle up tempo" they are talking about, it is a huge advantage for young QBs that only need to execute until they learn to read Defenses better

Put me in the camp as finding it almost impossible to believe Boyd would after driving to Austin to commit then spending all weekend in Austin. Even if Mack backed out of his handshake with the rest why would Boyd follow? I can't imagine a top 100 recruit feeling the need to play Robin to Mack's Batman - and that's exactly how it would look.

I think the best thing we can do with Boyd is just ignore him (myself included).

He clearly enjoys the attention. Trying to interpret what he's thinking/tweeting isn't going to go anywhere.

Until he decommits I won't believe it, and until then I won't question his commitment. All I know is the kid likes to troll.

Uh-oh. Demarco replaced my header on his Twitter with a pic of CS, mom, dad, and him. Plus, he tweeted "I'm faithful to my team." This is worrisome.

Sounds like we formally offered Reed today. Reed apparently hasn't made a decision and we are still in it, per 247.
Have to wonder about Newsome. Are we really still pursuing him, and if so wouldn't it seem to him like he is a backup plan to fill a spot not taken by someone else? I guess if we are not too concerned about alienating him with other players offered, and he still decides to come here that would be his decision and his ego for himselfto consider. Weird we just "formally" offered Reid? Did he just get grades clearance?

sitting here at the sidelines eating popcorn trying to read the threads.well its good that Reed is back in the picture..

Between Twitter and paid recruiting sites, this has become big business involving high school kids.  I remember when you opened the paper after NSD, to see who went where.

It's all fun and games now, but that ends once they get on campus.  I'm sure the coaches will remind them of some of their tweets.

This is nice to see.  No wonder CFS likes this kid
