2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

I think Boyd is the new nickel

It would have been Irvin but its not

Now its Boyds' spot which might actually get him on the field quicker since we have zero depth at that spot

Not to mention the 3-3-5 was our base a good part of the season and the nickel was a starter
Agree, meaning we need depth on the outside. Baker is a very good player who will only get better with a RS year. You need in of 5-6 CBs in our conference.

Roberts, Hill, Boyd, Davis, Baker in 2016 + 1-2 incoming True Fr. -CB

Haynes, Colbert, Hall, Bonney, Elliott + 2 studs in 2016 true Fr -Safety

apparently that was what the story was..but something tells me there was more to that behind the scenes that was left untold and who knows at this point..what had happened

The whole presser, at least from once Newsome began speaking himself, is like nails of the chalkboard to me now

I have to do a little shiver to shake it off

I, of course, have never met his mother, but in that little moment, i felt like I did know her

I wanted run up there and give her a hug

i felt the exact same way..like the only two things that was a dead giveaway for me when i seen his announcement was the video presentation and his bowtie and i was like oh jesus this is gonna be a twist

Is there any truth to the story that he had called both schools and told them that morning it was UT?

The story I read was that he phoned Charlie after midnight to say he was coming

Later, the next day, after the dust had settled, he did an interview with some UCLA guys where he confirmed he not only told the Texas coaches he was coming but told his own family the same thing -- all the night before.  He wasn't joking or cavalier about it, he was just explaining himself.  I had the impression his emotions were high, and his head was spinning

I would have loved to be in his parents'  car that night after the announcement he made what kind of conversations that was discussed on the way home..that trip home may have not been sooo pleasant
