2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

RE: Murray and the UT offense, here’s what I’m aware of… or can reasonably assume.
  • Only the Murray family… and perhaps the winning HC know where he’s going… if he has even finally decided
  • Placing beliefs on what others have said… or think… is pure conjecture
  • Baseball is a big factor in his athletic career
  • UT has the far superior baseball program
  • Despite being committed to A&M for months, he tweeted out the UT Jersey knowing the cascading effect 
  • He has NOT been prone to tweeting a lot… and trolling to grab attention
  • Apparently his father and Sumlin have not been seeing eye to eye on things
  • Very shortly after he visited UT, Mack began to swing towards UT and took a surprise visit, despite just a while earlier telling that UT didn't really move him
  • TCU was believed to be the place for Mack, even after UT visit
  • Now Mack has cancelled TCU OV
  • Mack seems to be tending heavily towards UT
  • Mack, Murray, Jefferson have been telling each other for years that they all wanted to play together
  • If Murray doesn’t go UT, then with the shift to up-tempo spread, CS will make it work with Heard/Swoopes… and another QB he may add
  • Texas is going to land some great RBs
  • Texas is going to land some great WRs… and a great TE
 
I’m feeling good… Murray, or no Murray.
 
But, given solid info to the contrary… the above points still lead me to think that Murray will go to UT.

I think we can all agree that Coach Strong and his staff have worked their asses off in a manner not seen by UT coaches in forever.

And I for one think they have done a great job.  With all of this focus on Murray and the last week many are losing sight of what has been accomplished.  Coleman's article regarding 6 lineman recruited this year compared to the total of the last few years was an eye opener.  We need so many positions recruited but have so few spaces.

IMO it's been a great recruiting effort.  Just think back to December and neither Malik or McNeil was projected to be Longhorns, before the Florida guys - remember where we were then?  These folks freaking out if we don't get Murray or some of these late guys need to chill out and remember where we started from.  Strong and staff have done a terrific job even if some of the web wienies don't get everything they wanted for Christmas.

People need to slow their roll a bit and keep in mind that the two greatest coaches ever to coach at Texas A&M, Bear Bryant and Kevin Sumlin, between them have 14 SEC championships and 6 national championships. That is the kind of tradition that recruits are impressed with. This isn't over by a long shot.

exactly and it just occurred to me Strong has been around the SEC recruiting battle before..been there..done that..this is nothing new to him :) :)
