UT confirmed that Senior Nneka Enemkpali (Pflugerville HS) is done for the season after tearing her ACL. Enemkpali led the Horns at 12.4 ppg and Total Minutes.

The women's team just can't catch a break.

Unfortunate because when healthy this team hadn't lost a game and looked like a final 4 contender. Unreal in terms of the injuries. 

Atkins missed several weeks because of injury (starting PG). Lang missed a couple games with an injury (starting C). Stafford missed a couple months with an injury (backup C/starting C last year). Brianna Taylor has missed a couple weeks with an injury (backup PG). Now starting forward Enemkpali is out for the season.

Freak injuries happen. Maybe next time she can just tell her knee to "toughen up".
