He's from Indianapolis. Yes, he's the one who decommitted from Michigan. Staff really likes this guy, they think he's on the level of MJ.

Ok...how many more spots do we have? Seems like we are chasing 20+ recruits but we are at 20 commits. Most years around 25 is the limit. How many more do we have? And when do they start laying down the commit now or it goes to someone else line?

i heard we have upwards of 30 scholarships available due to graduation and attrition.

Height, weight, what LB position would he fill? Getting him, Cherry, Malik would be quite the haul! Don't know much about Hagar, but his brother sure played well in Waco for the last four years. Hagar had some other strong program offers as well if I recall.

Growing up i went to a couple of out of state camps for oline and basketball, made a ton of friends that i hit it off with and now consider good friends over the years. The bond that can be created over sports is pretty cool.

Hagar is a legacy. His dad was a LB at Texas. You may have heard of him. :)

Kirkland is listed at 6'1, 235. He's an inside LB. He's the top ranked player in his state, 174th nationally, and 12th at his position nationally. He's a 4-star.

I hear we lead for Davante Davis, the cb from Florida. FSU is pursuing an LSU commit instead right now. UF is in disarray, defensively right now.

graduation, attrition and also you have the ability to count 6 that will enroll early towards the 2014 class and Matthew Merrick will greyshirt, counting him towards the 2016 class. We could also lose a commit or 2 that we currently have. I think we get to 31 assuming things go well for us down the stretch.

2016 will be a smaller class.

Rumor on TOS right now is that LSU commit Mau Teaheuma (sp?), a 5-star OT, has reached out to Coach Strong and staff about a possible OV. Apparently having seconds thoughts about bayou land.

Daylon Mack just began following Strong and Rumph on twitter today.

I know who Hagar is, just not familiar with his game! If the bloodline says anything he will be a great addition to the program. Let's hope he grows a sweet fumanchu like his dad sported in the 80s.

The more I see the Baylors, TCUs etc being in top 5 rankings the less I worry about stars. When is last time you saw Baylor or TCU in top 10 recruiting class discussion? Get the guys you like and coach them up. Forget the film geeks. Strong has done it the hard way. We will be fine without the MJs et al. I assure you.

There is at least recruiting guy who is on record that we'll end with a "top 7" class.

We lead for the Miss JC OL Hodges.
