Do yourself a favor and go over to Barking Carnival and read this piece by Scipio Tex.

Sums it all up with this at the end, "I saw a 35 point game plan and a 7 point execution".

He's 100 percent correct. I went back and watched the Baylor game and we should have scored some points with that game plan. Hell, on the first offensive play we had a wide open touchdown with a seam route right up the middle to Swaim (Strong even made mention of this in the press conference I believe). Swoopes has to start finding the open guy. We had receivers wide open that game.

his passes were consistently low and short like he was aiming the ball instead of turning it loose. his decision-making on throws was tentative and late. with accurate passes, I think we would have moved the ball pretty well.

I can live with a few missed passes, but he has to start at least finding the open receiver. Shipley and our TEs were consistently open up the middle when I rewatched the game. At least a couple times we had a wide open touchdown if Swoopes just finds the tight end over the middle. It was almost sickening to rewatch, because there were so many easy points.
