I talked to my AAU friend the other day and he said the talk right now on the circuit is that Aston is building a powerhouse in recruiting.
In 2014 Aston pulled in a top 10 class (number 3 and 29 recruits in the country in Atkins and McCarty).
The 2015 class could be a top 5 type class depending on how many scholarships are available (already have the number 6 and 8 players in the country committed in Higgs and Hosey)
2016 could be an absolute monster of a year. Cox and Holmes are the number 1 and 2 players in the country. My friend says there's a good chance we land Holmes and Texas even has a shot with Cox. There's also a bunch of other Texas high school players that are ranked high that Texas has a shot with (Landrum, Johnson, Chou, and Ramirez all top 20 national players). My buddy said he would not be surprised if Texas lands 3 top 20 players in the 2016 class.
