I mean if you want an answer, I think the father's action is impulsive, misguided and displays a clear lack of understanding of his son. Not to mention, probably a bit fiscally irresponsible given the amount of money that was paid for all of the games he ran over. Clearly he doesn't know how to communicate with his son, as his son already displayed no self control or motivation. But I digress, as it was clearly all scripted to draw attention and appeal to certain demographics. 

As for angry fedora guy...I can't even. His channel is out there.

USC - as you know - is the University of Southern California

USCe - is "East", the University of South Carolina

Just my lazy way of referring to this school.  "Carolina" means UNC to most
