I [SIZE=12.727272033691406px]received[/SIZE] an email today from a High School coach who spoke to a player today and he said Ash looks really good. Really really good.
Especially compared to his backups. Jerrod is getting reps but it's just to much for him right now and if he has to start we would be in trouble.
Swoopes just doesn't understand the game yet. Thinks that's because it was so easy for him in high school. He never had to learn the position. Watson is a fiery guy and the QB's love him.
Gray and Brown are unreal right now as far as physical shape. Both would start for any team in America.
Oline is starting to mesh but, Estelle & Harrison are skating on very thin ice as far as following "one" of Charlie's 5 core values. Coach was told that we probably should not count on them at this point.
Receivers are thin but what is there works hard. Chip on shoulder guys.
Strong is intense but everyone knows he would stop in a heartbeat and help any player. Been repeated but no one was affected but the guys getting kicked off. The players were happy they are gone.
Also had a conversation with a former AD employee that worked for three different coaches while at Texas. One the funniest things hew told was that Arlene Makovic was the sweetest lady he ever met. Arlene refused to sit in a private suit and instead insisted on sitting on press row.
Everyone was shocked when she poured a Coke over Kirk Bohls head during one of the games .
