I think Strong will kill it in the recruits on defense. His choice for OC will be huge in regards to recruiting IMO.

I think we got a real good coach. Just remember, however, that changing the culture at UT is going to take awhile. It will be interesting to see how many of our current players buy into to Strong's methods. Strong has his work cut out for him but he is exactly what we need if we are to change...

That is the key. Strong can be a great coach at Texas. We will have to wait and see. I always had a little heartburn about Saban. He is without questions a great coach. But, could he do it at Texas? I am not convinced he would have the same success here.

This smells of Powers. After the clown shown that we put on display on Dec. 13th, I can imagine that some of the biggest names did not want to wade into the mess that is our administration especially with Powers still as President. I am not saying that Powers is not a great academic president...
